Finally I’ve tried to free myself from the trappings of Micro$oft. Okay, Okay, just kidding, I’m just kidding, as Grinberg would say.
I am dual-booting with Ubuntu 6.10 Linux and Windows XP. We’ll see how it goes! So far I like it; the install was easy–though I wouldn’t have my grandmother try it. Once it’s up and running it flawlessly picked up my wireless. After that I was able to install the new ntfs-3g driver for Debian that allows read-write access to Windows NTFS partitions. WOOOHOO!
