I finally beat Neverwinter Nights 2, a Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 Edition Role Playing Game for the PC. (Link whore)
This game is probably the best true role playing games I’ve played in years. The game play was excellent, the sound exceptional, the characters believable and the story, though traditional, well told. There’s exceptional moments in the game, many plot twists and good D&D fighting action.
My only complaint was that the game lagged, even on high-end systems. Mine isn’t very high-end but it still ran well for the most part.
I recommend NWN2 to anyone who likes RPGs on the PC. It’s easy to pick up and start playing. I’m actually going to play the game again as an evil type of character. Your own actions and influence determine how the story ends…literally.
Ty and I are now spending time playing with the toolset. The toolset allows anyone with the game to create content to play and share with others. On my main page (http://www.likertland.com) I’ve created a link for NWN2 where I’ll post scripts, screenshots and any modules I may create — depending on the file size.)
Excellent game and well worth the 60+ hours I’ve played it.
