Psalm 35:1-3

I randomly flipped open my Bible to Psalm 35:1-3 intending to blog about whichever Godly-inspired word my eyes saw first.

Contend, O Lord, with those who contend with me;
fight against those who fight against me.
Take up shield and buckler,
arise and come to my aid.
Brandish spear and javelin
against those who pursue me.
Say to my soul,
“I am your salvation.”
(NIV translation)

What this means to me is that prayers to God for help, support and aid are answered for those who truly believe that Jesus is salvation. In the end, God will always stand with us, above us, next to us, as a weapon to those who stand against us. Nothing is too great or too small for God to come to our assistance if we truly believe in Him.

    AMEN!
    JESUS IS REAL !
    AND THE DESIRE IN OUR HEARTS AS A TRUE BORN- AGAIN CHRISTIAN SHOULD BE TO WANT TO OBEY HIM AND HONOR HIM IN ALL WE DO AND SAY.
    HE HONORS FAITHFULNESS, AS I CAN ATTEST TO IN MY OWN LIFE.
    I WOULDNT WANT TO WAKE UP ANOTHER DAY IF I KNEW HE WASNT THERE TO PROTECT ME AND GUIDE ME THRU EACH MOMENT.
    GREAT SITE!:)
