Thousands upon thousands of US soldiers have died to preserve and protect freedom and democracy and the belief that as a people, the United States of America can help provide a better life to the oppressed. So, this Memorial Day, dedicate a moment of silence for all who have served.
We take for granted all of the freedoms that we have and it’s important that we hold onto them, cherish them, and let them echo throughout our very existence. Each day as we climb into our cars and take to the roads, each day that we take our kids to school, each night as we tuck our children into bed we don’t think about the sacrifice of those who have died to protect our freedoms.
To all of my friends who read this, to those who have defended our country and supported freedom overseas, I extend my heartfelt gratitude and admiration for all that you have done.
