Tomorrow is a game I look forward to every year. There’s a rivalry here that’s personal. I “almost” went to Mizzou for college back in the day. It’s a great school and they have a good sports program. I have some friends who are alumni and this is the time of year they call, email or IM me to yak about how great and awesome the Tigers are and how sucky the Huskers are.
I can waiver either way on this game. If Mizzou wins I get to tout my status as a former Missouri resident who supported the Tigers in my early years. If the Huskers win I claim my current Nebraskan citizenship. It’s win-win for me.
This is a road game played at Faurot Field in Columbia, Missouri. Kick-off is at 8:15PM and you can watch the game on ESPN. This will be a good match-up for both teams. I’m expecting a close game that we the Huskers will win by a field goal.
Either way, I win. =)
