It wasn’t a good start to the weekend for Huskers now-ex-coach Bill Callahan. Early Saturday morning he entered the athletic directors office and left ten minutes later. Shortly afterward it was announced by the University of Nebraska Lincoln staff that Bill Callahan was terminated from his position as head coach.
Apparently it’s cheaper to […]

Read this article about, once again, how evil the Bush administration is. For the purpose of my diatribe I am going to make myself very clear.
I personally condemn how Saudi Arabia has handled the rape of one of it’s citizens. Criminalizing the victim is stupid. Blaming her for not having […]

Today is our national day to be thankful and be open and honest about the blessings we’ve received this year. The year has been moving along so fast and I can not believe it’s already Thanksgiving. It feels like I just had my birthday in March and then after I blinked the […]

Beowulf, a take on the epic poem penned in the early sixth century (or thereabouts), is a popcorn munching flick. State-of-the-art CGI is used throughout the entire movie; there’s no live cinematography.
The movie is good and the plot is pretty simplistic. Seriously, it doesn’t have to be convoluted and Beowulf keeps everything on […]

It’s about freaking time. For anyone who didn’t realize he’s been on ‘roids, compare his stats for 10 years ago to the last few years. Compare pictures too.
Personally I think they should invalidate his record due to this.

I’m not a scientist and I don’t pretend that I’m a climatologist or a meteorologist. Hell, I don’t even have a “gist” in my profession. Wait, maybe I could be a Technologist? That sounds pretty good.
Anyways, on to my rant.
I’m going to tell everyone a secret. Tell your friends. Tell […]

Husker Hell that is. In some freak alignment of the planets the Huskers managed to pull a victory out today. It was a good showing by Joe Ganz with 700 yards total with a 35-40 passing record for the day.
Just goes to show you that no matter how much you may be sucking […]

Intense and action packed thrill-ride. Call of Duty 4 is one frickin’ awesome game. I give this game 9 out of 10 stars. You’re going to ask yourself why I just gave it nine out of ten. Go ahead and ask, I will tell you but only after I tell you […]

Ty and I had a good laugh. He’s on month three of six in Iraq. I don’t care to disclose more details then I feel i can safely drop here from time-to-time. Suffice to say, more happens there then CNN ever reports.
Here’s an excerpt from our Yahoo conversation tonight.

In the event that you didn’t know the Huskers lost again, this is your official notification.
Not only did they lose, they lost 79-36. I don’t care who you are, your defense SUCKS if you let someone score 79 points. It’s pitiful. For anyone who says that “oh this was a better game […]

Not me! Okay, so maybe I suck at SOME games. That’s not what this is about. Brian Waggoner has started up a new gamer blog I-SAG (I Suck At Games), which is akin to his old GameCastOnline blog and podcast. Without World Of Warcraft!
It’s witty, it’s uncut and uncensored. Go […]
