Fear, Uncertainty, and Dumb…

I’m not a scientist and I don’t pretend that I’m a climatologist or a meteorologist. Hell, I don’t even have a “gist” in my profession. Wait, maybe I could be a Technologist? That sounds pretty good.

Anyways, on to my rant.

I’m going to tell everyone a secret. Tell your friends. Tell your family. Tell everyone. Wait for the shocker.

There’s absolutely zero confirmed truth to GLOBAL WARMING. That’s right, you heard me. I even put it in caps so that you couldn’t miss it. Al Gore’s An Inconvenient Truth is full of inaccurate facts and plenty of apocalyptic fear mongering.

Now I’m not calling for destroying the environment, what I’m saying is that the “facts” behind the global warming phenomena are not enough to be truly convincing. For one, we’ve only recorded weather and climate data since the mid-nineteenth century. Other than that we have to rely on ice cores data. The global weather system and climate is too complex of a system for our computers to accurately predict, especially when it comes to predictions for things that happened thousands and millions of years ago. I’m not the first to say it and I won’t be the last. There is no conclusive evidence that the Industrial Revolution caused a rise in greenhouse gas emissions. How many cars do you think there were in the mid-1800’s?

So, what is the purpose of this fear mongering? It’s subconscious mind-control. I’m not a big conspiracy theorist, I’m not a nut job and I am not a member of any militia groups. Here’s another secret: fear is one of the most powerful motivators. Global Warming is one long-lasting indoctrination to being mindfreaked. The biggest way to motivate someone is to scare them into it. These are the same people who are listening to our phone calls and profiling your grocery store trips to determine if you are a terrorist. Is it a stretch to think that global warming is a plan to subvert our thinking and keep us in a subconscious state of fear? I don’t think so. It’s simple fear, uncertainty and doubt to make you rely on big brother.

Scientific data shows that the sea levels were once higher than projected by global warming models. We’re shown huge chunks of the ice shelf falling into the ocean. Oh no! How come no one is showing contant footage of the tons of snow that fall on the ice shelf every year? The ice shelf is THICK. You can’t break off a chunk and suddenly the ocean rises three feet.

Finally, my last point. Carbon dioxide emissions. If we are pumping out millions of tons of carbon dioxide as a greenhouse gas, wouldn’t plants then be pumping out more oxygen?
