I couldn’t have planned that better. I did a lap around Midwest from Omaha, Nebraska to York, Nebraska then down to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma followed by a jaunt to West Mineral, Kansas then finally home to Omaha. All in all it was 1024 miles in length. It’s not my all-time record; I have gone to San Antonio and back in two days, which was 1100 miles each way. THAT was one wild drive.

Emma and I are hanging out for the week here; I’m on vacation. Saturday I’ll be taking her back to OKC to go back to her Mom’s until Spring Break.

Today I forgot to turn my radar detector on and got nailed going 82 in a 65 (while passing another vehicle). I didn’t get a warning, I got a nice citation for a lovely $138. It could have been a lot worse!
