Ok, I Lied…

Like an ice weasel, I changed my mind and spent my $20 on the iPod Touch upgrade. What can I say, my initial angst was overruled by my curiosity.

Was it worth it? I think so. The added apps are nice, and it’s convenient to have an IMAP connection to Gmail when I want to quickly check my mail while I’m around WiFi.

I’m wigging out about the GPS functionality. The Touch doesn’t have a radio in it, so how did it find me (within 500 feet) just by using my wireless connection? If anyone has that answer, please let me know…
